Obituary for Ray E Hawkins

“Together Again”

AUSTINTOWN – Ray E. Hawkins, 84, passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2013.

He was born July 8, 1929, in Mineral Ridge, the son of Samuel and Florence Hawkins.

Ray was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of the Wickliffe Christian Church.

He will be dearly missed by his son, Ray (Jamie) Hawkins Jr. of Austintown; stepson, Michael Dunn of Texas; two sisters, Mary Hawkins of W.Va. and Jean Neff of Michigan; two brothers, Donald Hawkins of Austintown and Tom Hawkins of Bazetta; and three grandchildren.

Besides his parents, Ray was preceded in death by his wife, Marcella; a son, Timothy Dunn; a sister, Marie Metz; and a brother, Robert Hawkins.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 3, 2013, at the Lane Family Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel. 

Friends will be received from 9 a.m. until the time of the service.
