Obituary for Earl F Himes

YOUNGSTOWN – Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel for Earl F. Himes, 89, who passed away early Thursday morning at St. Elizabeth Health Center.

Earl was born May 19, 1924, in Rossiter, Pa., a son of the late George and Minnie (Stahlman) Himes.

Earl was a riviter for Youngstown Steel Door. He enjoyed working on his yard and keeping up with his flowers and garden, and he also enjoyed painting.

His wife, the former Cyrilla C. Jordan, whom he married May 21, 1955, passed away April 13, 2013.

Earl leaves his son, Jack (Florine R.) Himes of Youngstown.

Earl was also preceded in death by three sisters, Clarence Rugh, Mabel Mayes, and Dorothy Neal; and three brothers, Paul D., Cloy A. and Eugene Himes.

Family and friends may call Tuesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
