Obituary for JAMES A. PENNYPACKER SR

James A. Pennypacker Sr., 86, of Reading, Pennsylvania passed away on Friday, September 9, 2022. James was born on October 18, 1935 a son of the late James G. and Violet R. (Lilac) Pennypacker. Jim "Jimbo" was born, raised and resided in Reading, PA. where he was of catholic faith. He was a well known auctioneer, speed skater (COACH), bowler, golfer, loved to yard sale, an avid Yankee fan and attending NASCAR races to support the Busch Brothers Team.

Jim will be joining his son, James A. Pennypacker, Jr. and his sister.

Jim is survived by his children; Beth-Ann Hyneman, Jac-Lynn Pennypacker, Raymond Pennypacker, Mark Pennypacker, Kelley Pennypacker, Latisha Pennypacker, Amanda Wilson (William) and Anthony Pennypacker. He also leaves behind his 16 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren who will miss their pop-pop and also his companion of 20 years, Jolene Kaufman.

A Visitation for James will be Friday, September 16, 2022 from 8:00 AM-10:30 AM in Theo C. Auman, 247 Penn St., Reading, PA 19601. Prayer Service will be Friday, September 16, 2022 at 10:30AM in the funeral home. Burial to follow in Gethsemane Cemetery.
