Obituary for Louise E. Schieman

Louise (nee Williams) Schieman, 82, a longtime Chester Township resident, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, July 16, 2013. She passed away peacefully at Hillcrest Hospital. Louise was born in Cleveland on June 18, 1931. She graduated from Chester School (West Geauga) in 1949, worked for years as a waitress, first at Howard Johnson''s and later at Kenny King''s. It was while she was working that she met her husband, Alan. They were married Aug. 5, 1969, and would have celebrated their 46th anniversary next month. Louise became a member of Willo-Hill Baptist Church in 1970, where she enjoyed working with small children in Sunday school and various other capacities. A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, Louise particularly loved family gatherings at which she was surrounded by those she loved and those who loved her. Survivors include her husband, Alan; children, Donna Cline (John) Stainkamp, Bruce (Nancy) Cline and Vicky Schieman; and grandchildren, Daniel and Emily Stainkamp and Stephen and Laurel Cline.Louise was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Dorene (nee Galloway) Williams; and her younger brother, Harold Williams. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour before funeral service at the church. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, July 20, 2013, at Willo-Hill Baptist Church, 4200 State Route 306, Willoughby. Interment is in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens, Chester Township.
