Obituary for Ruby Marie Macejko
RUBY MARIE MACEJKO
POLAND – Ruby Marie Macejko, 75, died July 6, 2013, at St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center.
Mrs. Macejko was born Sept. 17, 1937, in Youngstown, a daughter of Raymond and Rose (Buoscio) DePaul.
She was a 1955 graduate of The Rayen School and graduated with a Bachelor’s in Education from Youngstown College. She was a teacher for 44 years, most of which were in the Youngstown City Schools.
Ruby enjoyed watching Cleveland Indians baseball and old movies, but her greatest joy was being the number one fan of all her children and grandchildren.
She leaves her husband, Joseph, whom she married June 27, 1964; three children, Jay (Melissa) Macejko of Poland, Andrea (Chip) Reihl of Berlin, and Drew (Melissa) Macejko of Poland; one sister, Marie Poidmore of Roseville, Calif.; and six grandchildren, Joseph, Joshua, Genevieve Marie Macejko, and Lauren, Kristen, and Megan Reihl.
She was preceded in death by both her parents.
Services will be held at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, Friday at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Green Haven Memorial Gardens.
Friends will be received Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
