Obituary for Linda F Roberts
Linda Fay Roberts, 39, of Mentor, formerly of Eastlake, passed away Thursday, June 20, 2013, at home after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born Feb. 10, 1974, she was the daughter of James F. and Bertha L. (Vannoy) Roberts. Linda was a 1992 graduate of North High School and a 1994 graduate of Lakeland Community College. She had worked the past six years as an executive assistant at Kaiser Permanente and before that spent five years working for Exclusive Search Employment Agency.
She is survived by her mother, Bertha ""Bea"" Roberts of Eastlake; her sister, Helen (John) Szakacs of Mentor; her half-sister, Debra (David) Minnear; three half-brothers, James K., Russell and Jeffrey, all of Tennessee; nieces, Brittany and Autumn; her companion, Shawn Brown; and several uncles, aunts and cousins.
Linda was preceded in death by her father, James, in 1991.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 26, 2013, at the Funeral Home and Burial will follow at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 25 at the funeral home.
