Michael Battaglia
Funeral services for Michael Battaglia, 52, of Painesville, will be 11 a.m. Tuesday. Mr. Battaglia passed away Monday, June 10, 2013, at The Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland.
Born March 30, 1961, in Cleveland, he had been a resident of Lake County for 41 years, living in Eastlake before moving to Painesville.
Michael was a 1979 graduate of Willoughby South High School and a member of the National Honor Society. He enjoyed cooking and gardening and was an avid motorcycle rider.
Mr. Battaglia was a longtime employee at Mentor Family Foods.
He was the beloved son of Angelo Battaglia; loving brother of Jim (Mary) Battaglia, Barb (Harold) Siller and Tom (Heather) Battaglia; and uncle of Andrew, James, Kimberly, Stephanie, Erik, Michael and Kailee.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Jean Marie (nee Kruzel) Battaglia, in 1993.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chester Township.
