Obituary for Bertha Karol Fosdick
Bertha Fosdick, age 93, wife of the late Horace Fosdick and lifelong resident of Ansonia, Conn., entered into eternal rest June 6. She was born March 7, 1920 in Ansonia, daughter of the late Charles & Stephania Buczynski Karol. She graduated from St. Joseph''s School & Ansonia High School. She leaves to cherish her memory her three daughters Susan Reggiani (Bob) of Bethany, Diane Fosdick of Manassas, Virginia & Karol Beirlien (David) of Warrenton, Virginia, and 4 grandchildren & 5 great grandchildren. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother & great grandmother who always had a good time spending time with family & friends. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by 2 sisters, Mary Ranno & Josephine Tanner, brother Stanley Karol, nephew Bill Tanner & niece Karen Barto. Funeral services will be held on Monday, 11:00 a.m. at The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia. (www.jenkinskingfh.com) Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
