Obituary for Virgil Yehl

Funeral Mass for Virgil J. Yehl, 82, of Chardon, will be 10 a.m. Saturday, June 8, 2013, at St. Mary''s Church in Chardon. Mr. Yehl passed away May 19, 2013, in Concord. Born Feb. 16, 1931, in Fort Wayne, Ind., he was a resident of Euclid before moving to Chardon 16 years ago. Mr. Yehl was a U.S. Army veteran, a member of Willoughby-Cleveland Elks 18, and an avid fisherman. He loved his granddogs. He was employed in sales at the former George Worthington Company, and retired in 1980 after 25 years of service. Survivors are his children, Suzanne (Frank) Wroblewski, Carolyn (Tom) Peshek, Joseph, John (Rebecca), Anthony (Tina) and Robert; grandchildren, Martin, Steven, Brian, Christopher, Benjamin, Kimberly, Christopher, Brian and Tyler; great-grandchildren, Brandon, Shawn, Rosa and Evelyn; and siblings, Charles, David, Mary, Theresa, Barbara and Patricia. Mr. Yehl was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn (nee Dannemiller); siblings, Eleanor, Helen and Richard; and daughters-in-law, Barb and Valerie.
