Obituary for Arthur Foley

ARTHUR FOLEY MINERAL RIDGE – A prayer service will be held on Tuesday at 9:15 a.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel, and a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church, 3504 State Route 46, Mineral Ridge, for Mr. Arthur Foley, 87, who died early Wednesday morning at his son’s residence. He was born July 6, 1925, in New Springfield, a son of Alphonsus A. and Margaretta McCurdy Foley. Arthur had worked for Roadway Express as a long haul truck driver, retiring in 1987 and had been a member of the Moose Lodge in Rockyham, N.C. He leaves his daughter, Karen (Raymond) Reedy of Canfield; two sons, Terrence (Cheryl) Foley of Austintown and David Foley of Girard; a sister, Patricia Kendig of Canfield; a brother, Zeno (Patricia) Foley of Austintown; eight grandchildren, Eric and Lara Foley, Dawn Strete, Lisa and Tara Reedy, Danny Noday, and Justin and Brendan Foley; and great-grandchildren. Arthur was preceded in death by his parents; four sisters, Mildred Leighty, Mary Ellen Foley, June Rae Foley and Mary Kamrada; and five brothers, John, Francis, Richard, Edgar and Charles Foley. Friends may call Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel.
