Obituary for Jesse M Anderson

JESSE M. ANDERSON BOARDMAN – Jesse M. Anderson, 91, passed away April 17, 2013, at Beeghly Oaks. He was born Dec. 19, 1921, in Lewisburg, W.Va., the son of Samuel and Laura (Yates) Anderson. Jesse was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving our country during World War II from 1943 to 1946. He enjoyed to golf, but his one true love was spending time with his family. He will be dearly missed by his two daughters, Debbie Fox of Youngstown and Joetta (Jack) Griffith of Wellsville; a stepson, Daniel (Deborah) Lindner of Canton; a stepdaughter, Joyce (Michael) Glieden of Utah; two brothers, William “Bill” Anderson of West Virginia and Earl (Sue) Anderson of South Carolina; a sister, Shirley (Jimmy) McCallister of California; a sister-in-law, Peggy Anderson of Virginia; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Jesse was preceded in death by his loving wife, Ginette (Potdevin) Anderson, whom he married in 1961; two sons, Richard and Edward Anderson; three brothers, Buford, Kyle and Dale Anderson; a sister, Kathryn Moxley; and his parents. Funeral services will be held April 22, 2013, at noon at the Lane Family Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel. Friends will be received from 11 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be at Green Haven Cemetery.
