YOUNGSTOWN- Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel for Cyrilla C. Himes, 78, formerly of Covode, Pa., who passed away April 13, 2013, at St. Elizabeth Health Center.
Cyrilla was born Feb. 23, 1935, in Covode, the daughter of Ralph and Catherine (Beck) Jordan.
Cyrilla was a graduate of Punxsatawney Area High School. She worked at Nelson Bedding in Youngstown for many years.
She is survived by her husband, Earl Himes, whom she married on May 21, 1955; one son, Jack (Florine) Himes of Youngstown; and a brother, Harry (Liz) Jordan of Punxsatawney, Pa.
Cyrilla was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Richard Jordan; and numerous aunts and uncles.
Family and friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Interment will take place at Green Haven Memorial Gardens.
The family has requested that memorial contributions take the form of donations to a charity of the donor’s choice.
