Obituary for James S Mullins

JAMES S. ''STANLEY'' MULLINS HUBBARD – James S. “Stanley” Mullins, 65, died Saturday evening, April 6, 2013, at his home. He was born June 19, 1947, in Pike County, Ky., a son of Woodrow and Oma Johnson Mullins and has lived in Hubbard for 38 years, coming from Pike County. Mr. Mullins, a 1965 graduate of Virgie High School, was a foreman and machine operator for West and Barker Plastics Intrusion Plant for 27 years, retiring in 2011. He was a member of the Alliance Free Will Baptist Church in Alliance. Stanley liked to read, play the guitar, sing and loved praying and being in church. He leaves his wife of 38 years, the former Wanda S. Smallwood, whom he married Nov. 21, 1975; three daughters, Karen A. Anderson of Alabama, Leanna J. Stennett of Niles and Bernice Mullins of Hubbard; two brothers, Eyvind C. (Dansie) Mullins of Warren, Mich. and Ernest L. (Rose) Mullins of Robinson Creek, Ky.; four sisters, Ada (Junior) Calebs of Kentucky, Betsey (Darryl) Burke of Virgie, Ky., Linda (Scott) Howell of Kentucky and Brenda (Bill) Martin of Kentucky; and nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Kaye Elswick; and two brothers, Lonnie Mullins and John, who died in infancy. Family and friends may call on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Interment will be at Green Haven Memorial Gardens in Canfield.
