Anna Jane Konchan (1920-2013)
Anna Jane Konchan Anna Jane Konchan, 92, went to be with the Lord in the mansion He prepared April 3, 2013, at Salida Woods in Mentor. Born Sept. 16, 1920, in Cleveland, she was a resident of Eastlake and Collinwood before moving to Mentor. Mrs. Konchan was a 1939 graduate of Collinwood High School, and an active member of Collinwood Christian Church, Lake Shore Christian Church, the Christian Women''s Fellowship and the Collinwood Quilters. Anna''s family would describer her as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Survivors are her husband of 72 years, Joseph R. Konchan; daughters, Kathy (David) Allen and Linda (Bob) Bals; grandchildren, Linda and Joe (Kathleen) Allen, and Dave (Cheryl) and Bob (Kristen) Bals; great-grandchildren, Alex, Samantha, Joshua, Isabella, Maddie, Alison, Katie, Nora, Tess, Mia and Eli; and sister-in-law, Gloria. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alex and Stella Tomba; and brother, Richard. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, April 8, 2013. Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Private burial will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens, Chester Township.
