Obituary for Robert K Cappy
ROBERT A. CAPPY
AUSTINTOWN – Robert A. Cappy, 59, passed away early Friday afternoon, Feb. 24, 2012, at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown.
Robert was born March 15, 1952, in Youngstown, a son of the late Ralph and Winifred Cappy, and was a lifelong area resident.
He was a 1970 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School. He worked as a real estate agent and then worked for 14 years as a correctional officer with the Trumbull Correctional Institute.
Mr. Cappy loved gardening and keeping tropical fish as hobbies.
Bob leaves two sons, Eric R. Cappy and Michael R. Cappy, both of Austintown; three sisters, Maureen (Ron) Craig of Boardman, Lyn Luzader of Barberton, and Marie (Tony) Clowser of Stow; and a brother, Ray (Darla) Cappy of Youngstown.
Family and friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 28, at Kinnick Funeral Home, 477 N. Meridian Road, Youngstown, where funeral services will follow at 7 p.m.
Interment will take place at Green Haven Memorial Gardens.
