James Herbert Rushworth (1929-2013)
James Herbert Rushworth, 84, passed away March 21, 2013, at his home in Mentor, surrounded by his family.
Born March 19, 1929, in Cleveland, he served in the Army during the Korean Conflict.
James was an avid fisherman and hunter. He was also a Lake Erie charter captain.
He worked as a planning supervisor for Caterpillar, retiring after 25 years of service.
Survivors are his wife of 63 years, Louella Rushworth; sons, James (Susan M.) Rushworth and Kevin (Susan D.) Rushworth; grandson, Cory James Rushworth; and sisters, Joan Rupert, Linda Blankenship and Barbara Bregar.
James was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Eleanor Rushworth.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 26, 2013. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chester Township.
