Obituary for Blanche J Culp

Blanche J. Culp (1917-2013) Mass of Christian Burial for Blanche J. Culp, 95, will be 11 a.m. Monday at St. Mary Catholic Church, 242 North State St., Painesville. Friends will be received from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Funeral Home. A resident of Mentor, Blanche was the daughter of Louis and Clara (Pieri) Testa. She was born July 21, 1917, in Pleasant City, and passed away March 20, 2013, at Lake Health West Medical Center in Willoughby. A member of St. Mary Church, Mrs. Culp was an avid bowler with a 169 average with the Monday Night Mixers at the former Regal Lanes in Mentor. She was a professional at crocheting and enjoyed playing bingo and cooking. She was an avid Cleveland Indians fan. A caring and loving person who devoted her time to her family, Blanche is survived by her children, Richard Culp of Mentor, Inez Leber of Leroy Township and Robert Coletto; grandchildren, Richard, Robert, Monika, Kristen and Kimberly; great-grandchildren, Brittany, Brandon and Samantha; great-great-grandson, Cole; brother, Walter Testa of Mt. Pleasant, Pa.; and sister, Lucille Rinard of Parkman. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard C. in 2006; brothers, Bruno and Gino Testa; and sisters, Ida Testa and Inez Pieri. Interment will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chester Township. Contributions in Mrs. Culp''s memory may be made in care of the family.
