Obituary for Eleanor Staffrey
ELEANOR L. STAFFREY
AUSTINTOWN – Funeral services were held yesterday at noon at the Schiavone Funeral Home for Eleanor L. Staffrey, 80, who died Friday afternoon at Omni Manor.
Eleanor was born Oct. 4, 1932, in Youngstown, a daughter of George Stephenson and Eva Woods.
She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking and crocheting items for family and friends. She was a member of the Idaho Road Alliance Church.
She is survived by her children, Leonard N. (Sharyn) Staffrey Jr. and Karen (Robert) Hermes, both of Canfield, Gary C. (Chris) Staffrey of North Jackson and Daniel Staffrey of Madison, Wis.; grandchildren, Theresa, Kimberly, Lennie, Angela, Kristen, Jaime, Brenda, and Anthony; great-grandchildren Dante, Donovan, Alaina, Natelle, Alyssa, Ava, Veronica, Dominic, Anthony, Aliva, Trish, and Debbie; a sister, Harriett Roth; and four step great-grandchildren in Savannah, Ga.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Leonard N. Staffrey Sr., whom she married Aug. 30, 1951, and died Aug. 12, 1994; and a grandson, Daniel Staffrey Jr.
