Valerie Ann (Zupancic) Yehl (1970-2013)
Valerie Ann (Zupancic) Yehl, 43, of Chardon Township, unexpectedly slipped away from her loved ones Feb. 16, 2013, and into the hands of God at TriPoint Medical Center in Concord Township.
Born Jan. 27, 1970, in Euclid, Val was a graduate of both Euclid High School and John Carroll University. She moved to Wickliffe shortly after marrying the love of her life, Robert Yehl, on April 11, 1992. They lived there until moving to Chardon in 2008.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Yehl; loving mother and stepfather, Donna and Roger Luksich; stepmother, Judy Zupancic; grandmother, Almeda Smith; brother, Damon Luksich; and many treasured aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Val also leaves behind her two precious four-legged boys, Jake and Shadow.
She was preceded in death by her adoring father, Daniel Zupancic; maternal grandfather, Joseph Smith; and paternal grandparents, Edward and Marguerite Zupancic.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20, at the Church of St. Mary, 401 North St., Chardon.
