Obituary for Julia Klapik Hicks
Julia K. Hicks , age 93, of Shelton entered into rest on Saturday, January 26, 2013, in the Griffin Hospital in Derby. She was the devoted wife of the late Edward R. Hicks.
Julia was born in Ansonia on August 7, 1919, daughter of the late Andrew and Matrona (Kowtko) Klapik and was a long time Shelton resident. She was a devoted member of the Three Saints Orthodox Church in Ansonia.
She is the loving sister of Pauline Carroll and the late Ann Zvonek. She also leaves several nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to attend a funeral liturgy at the Three Saints Orthodox Church, 26 Howard Ave., Ansonia, on Tuesday at 9 AM. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Ansonia. Leave condolences to her family at www.riverviewfh.com
