KATHRYN E. KOLLAT
“Together Again”
MINERAL RIDGE – Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the New Hope United Methodist Church, 21 Fairview Ave., Niles, OH 44446, for Kathryn E. Kollat, 78, who passed away Tuesday at her home.
Kathryn was born Feb. 17, 1934, in Turtle Creek, Pa., a daughter of the late Victor and Florence (Fulton) Edmundson.
She was a very active member of the New Hope United Methodist Church, where she was a Sunday Morning Greeter and participated in its Thursday evening Bible Study.
Kathryn’s husband, Frank Kollat, whom she married April 2, 1977, passed away June 20, 1999.
Kathryn will be sadly missed by her children, Kathy (Robert) Bell of Mantua, Elizabeth Cosgrove of Mineral Ridge and Vicki (Jim) Kowacich of McDonald; a sister, Elizabeth McGeary of Austintown; one grandson, Scott Zembower of Garrettsville; and six great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents and husband, Kathryn was preceded in death by two brothers, William and John Edmundson.
Friends may call today from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Lane Family Funeral Homes, Mineral Ridge Chapel and from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the church
