Obituary for William Coughlin

William J. Coughlin, age 64, resident of Bristol and former longtime Ansonia resident, entered into eternal rest Dec. 21, 2012. He was born Sept. 23, 1948 in Derby, son of the late John & Harriett Flaherty Coughlin. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his step father Vincent Dempsey. William was a longtime member of The Fountain Hose Fire Co. #1 and a parishioner of The Church of the Assumption, both in Ansonia. William worked at Curved Glass Distributors in Derby and was also a social member of the Slovak Club. He leaves his son Robbie Coughlin of Ansonia, his loving companion Frances Nigro of Bristol, his two brothers, Thomas Coughlin (Kim) of North Haven & Richard Coughlin of Ansonia, sister Sharon Skurat (Karl) of Ansonia and several nieces & nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, Dec. 27 at 9:30 a.m. (DIRECTLY) at The Church of the Assumption in Ansonia. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday, Dec. 26 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia.
