Barbara A. (Lucas) Shrout (1934-2012)
Barbara A. (Lucas) Shrout, 78, of Mentor, passed away Nov. 26, 2012, at Fairmount Health Care Center surrounded by her family.
Born July 6, 1934, in Burnell, W.Va., she had lived in Euclid before moving to Mentor 17 years ago.
She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, who loved spending time with her family.
The family would like to thank the Fairmount Health Care Center for their loving care they gave Barbara.
Survivors are her children, Arthur L. (Dorothy) Shrout Jr. and Terriann (James R.) Sabo; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; siblings, Jean (Dana) Gibson, Bud (Erma) Lucas and Dreama Calvo; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur L. Shrout Sr.; son, William Wayne Shrout; daughter-in-law, Rose Shrout; and siblings, Sue Shultz, Jack Lucas and Bernie Lucas.
Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. Friday. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chester Township.
