June M. (Lette) Rife (1936-2012)
June M. (Lette) Rife, age 76, of Mentor-on-the-Lake for the past 10 years and formerly of Painesville, died Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012, at Hospice House in Cleveland.
She was born July 6, 1936, in Painesville.
Mrs. Rife was a homemaker who loved spending time with her family. She also enjoyed throwing horseshoes and corn hole. She was an avid Cleveland Indians fan and attended Lakeland Baptist Church in Eastlake.
June''s survivors include her children, Gary (Melissa) Kern of Concord Township, Debra (Jeff Varga) Kern-Morris of Madison, Kay (Ron) Brainard of Eastlake, Donnie (Trudy) Rife of Eastlake, Danny Rife Jr. of Mentor-on-the-Lake; 18 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; sisters, Louise (Jack) Yeager of Concord Township and Carol Reynolds of Mentor-on-the-Lake; and brothers, Ralph Lette Jr. of Perry and David (Carolyn) Lette of Eastlake.
Preceding June in death are her husband, Danny Rife Sr.; parents, Ralph and Margaret Lette Sr.; sister, Jean Reed; and brothers, Harold, Don, Kenneth "Did" and John Lette.
Funeral services for June will be 11 a.m. Thursday. Entombment will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chester Township.
