Obituary for Beverly Twarog Fountain
Beverly M. (Twarog) Fountain, devoted wife of Willie Fountain died on November 5, 2012 at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston, MA after a brief illness. Born in Lowell on April 27, 1944 she was the daughter of the late Stasia C. (Maslanka) and Ervin E.Twarog. Beverly was a graduate of Lowell High School and Boston University School of Nursing. Until her retirement she worked in several Boston hospitals to include the Shrine Burns Institute, New England Baptist Hospital and the Walter E. Fernald State School in Waltham. Beverly will be remembered as a selfless nurse who touched her patients with compassion, respect and dignity.
In addition to her husband Beverly is survived by her sister, Barbara Cappelletti of Fitchburg, MA, two nephews, Carl F. Krystyniak of N. Chelmsford, Gregory E. Krystyniak and wife Suzette of Ruckersville, VA and a great niece, Kailey C. Krystyniak of VA, her in-laws, Edna Jones and her husband Joseph of New Haven, CT, Catherine Garris of Naugatuck, CT, Alice Busch of New Haven, CT, Selina Scott of Ansonia, CT, Thomasina Glover of Derby, CT, Walter Fountain of Naugatuck, Herman and Dennis Fountain of Ansonia, several nieces and nephews and the late Beatrice Zollarcoffer and Edward Fountain. Beverly was the daughter-in-law of the late Roosevelt and Annie Mae Fountain. She leaves a dear friend, Tracy Boucher of Lowell.
ARRANGEMENTS: At Beverly’s request, there will be no calling hours. Family will gather for a service to be held on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at 1 P.M. at the Dracut Funeral Home. Internment will be in the Pine Grove Cemetery, Ansonia, CT at the convenience of the family.
