Obituary for Clyde O Bragg

Clyde O Bragg February 22, 1931 - November 4, 2012 Clyde Olbert Bragg, age 81, of Niles, died on Sunday, November 4, 2012 at the White Oak Manor in Warren. He was born on February 22, 1931, in Boggs, WV, a son of the late Thomas Bragg and the late Ivy Roberts Bragg. Clyde was a veteran of the United States Army and had served during the Korean War. He had attended church at the Heritage Baptist Church in Ellsworth, OH and had worked as a Boiler Maker Helper at LTV for 30 years. He had a passion for cars and loved working as a car mechanic in his spare time. Clyde also enjoyed spending his time in the outdoors. He liked hunting, fishing and camping. Mostly, Clyde enjoyed helping other people. He is survived by his wife, Virginia Wright Bragg, whom he married on January 15, 1954; two sons, Orval (Vicki) Bragg of Vienna and Clyde "Rob" (Judy) Bragg of Niles, two brothers, Jerry (Kathy) Bragg of Struthers and Tommy (Joyce) Bragg of WV and by six sisters, Jane Cobb of WV, Betty Hardway of WV, Goldie McClure of WV, Martha Mitlow of Berlin Center, Pearle Svader of Austintown and Edna (Sam) Gentile of Austintown. Also surviving are five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Clyde was preceded in death by two brothers, Orval Bragg and George Bragg. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 9, 2012 from 4PM – 7PM at the Lane Family Funeral Homes, Niles Chapel. Services will be held Friday evening at 7PM at the funeral home. Entombment will at the Green Haven Memorial Gardens in Canfield.
