Obituary for Mary F Simpson
MARY FRANCES SIMPSON
AUSTINTOWN – Services will be held on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel, for Mary Frances Simpson, 83, who passed away Wednesday morning at ValleyCare Northside Medical Center.
Mary was born May 20, 1929, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late William and Florence (Salen) Reiley.
She was a graduate of Wilson High School and a member of the Bethel Assembly of God Church.
Mary enjoyed camping, cooking and baking.
Mrs. Simpson is survived by her husband of 61 years, Robert D. Simpson, whom she married May 5, 1951; two daughters, Katherine (Rob) Folsom of Canfield, and Karla Simpson of Cape Coral, Fla.; a son, Kenneth (Mary) Simpson of Broadview Heights; a brother, Bert Reiley of Denver; five grandchildren, Christopher (Heather) Simpson, Jennifer (Gus) Lunsford, Eric (Angelica) Folsom, Troy and Kyle Folsom; seven great-grandchildren, Avery, Gabriele, Delaney, Conroy, Zachary, Nicolas and Angelina.
Mary was preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth “Betty” Pachell; two brothers, William and Daniel Reiley; and a grandson, Bobby Simpson.
Friends and family may call on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
