Laura A. (Cone) Lorincz (1922-2012)
Services for Laura A. (Cone) Lorincz, 89, a homemaker, will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2012. The Rev. Dr. Robert D. Bowen of the First Christian Church of Willoughby will officiate at the services.
Mrs. Lorincz passed away Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012, at Heartland of Mentor.
Born Dec. 3, 1922, in Cleveland, she was a lifelong Willoughby resident.
Laura was a member of First Christian Church of Willoughby, where she also taught Sunday school. She was formerly a Girl Scout, Cub Scout leader and an avid crafter, whose favorite holiday was Christmas.
She is survived by her children, Dan (Arla) Lorincz of Williamsfield, Susan Graham of Macedonia and Sandy (Manuel) Troncoso of Lorain; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and sister, Margaret Shank of Willoughby. She also leaves several nieces and nephews and their families.
Her husband, John Steven Lorincz passed away in November 1985. Her son, Jackie Lorincz; and parents, Frank and Olive (Davis) Cone are also deceased.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Final resting place will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens, Chester Township.
