Herman A. Scharping (1926-2012)
Herman A. Scharping, 85, of Concord Township, died Sunday, Sept. 16, 2012, at Geneva Village Nursing Home.
He was born Sept. 18, 1926, in Lorain.
Herman owned and operated Scharping Manufacturing, until his retirement.
He enjoyed fishing and boating.
Survivors include his son, David (Patti) Scharping; grandchildren, Corey and Justin; and brother, Ray Scherping.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia.
Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens, 11521 Chillicothe Road, Chester Township, OH 44026.
