Nicholas W. Kohut (1941-2012)
Nicholas W. Kohut, 71, of Madison passed away Thursday, Sept. 6, 2012, at home.
Born April 23, 1941, in Monessen, Pa., to Elizabeth (Kurtak) and Nicholas Kohut, he married Madeline R. (Kehr) Waller.
He served in the United States Marine Corps and was a member of the V.F.W. Post in Madison. He was a Steelers and NASCAR fan.
He is survived by his son, Nicholas C. (Marites Salvador) Kohut of Cleveland; granddaughters, Alina, Abigail and Jenna; and brother, Ron (Kathy) Kohut of Tampa, Fla.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Madeline; parents; and sister, Elsie.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 13, 2012, at the funeral home. Final resting place will be at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chester Township.
