Carol R. (Swain) Dennis (1938-2012)
Services and interment for Carol R. (Swain) Dennis, 74, a licensed practical nurse, of Mentor, will be 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2012, in the Chapel at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens, 11521 Chillicothe Road, Chester Township. The Rev. Donald P. Beaumont of Bethel Lutheran Church will officiate at the services.
Mrs. Dennis passed away Friday, Aug. 24, 2012, at Hospice House in Cleveland.
Born March 7, 1938, in Akron, she had lived in Willowick for 44 years, before moving to Mentor 10 years ago.
Carol enjoyed antiques and crafts of all kinds, especially crocheting, knitting and needlepoint.
Carol was the beloved wife of 54 years of Robert J. Dennis; dear mother of Scott (Julie); and grandmother of Casey and Laura. She also leaves many nieces and nephews and their families; and her dear friend, Jane (Don) Albertone of Wickliffe.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Martha (Hoppe) Swain; and sister, Elaine Ries.
There will be no calling hours.
