Obituary for Elizabeth A Green

ELIZABETH ANN GREEN CANFIELD – Private family services were held on Friday at 2 p.m. for Elizabeth Ann Green, 95, who died Wednesday evening at Hospice House. Mrs. Green was born Dec. 29, 1916, in Youngstown, a daughter of John and Suzann Kikta Hlavcak. She was a graduate of North Jackson High School and a homemaker. Elizabeth was a charter member of St. Michael’s Church in Canfield, where she played the organ for a short time. Mrs. Green was a member of the Sleepy Hollow Garden Club and also an avid bowler. Her passion was sports and she was a great fan of both the Cleveland Browns and Indians. She leaves her son, William J. (Katherine) Lodwick of Canfield; her daughter, JoAnn E. Boggs of Canfield; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. Her husband of 26 years, Andrew Green, whom she married in 1956, died in 1982. Her sisters, Katherine, Margaret and Mary and her brother, John are also deceased. Memorial contributions for Elizabeth may be made to Hospice House, 9803 Sharrott Road, Poland, OH, 44514.
