Obituary for Elizabeth Schmuck

ELIZABETH HELEN SCHMUCK HUBBARD – Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home for Elizabeth Helen Schmuck, 89, who died Tuesday morning, Aug. 7, 2012, at Liberty Health Care. She was born July 15, 1923, in Blaine, a daughter of Louis and Elizabeth Nagy Kolesar and moved to Hubbard in 1952 from Dayton. Mrs. Schmuck, a graduate of Scienceville High School, was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Patrick Church, the Mahoning Chapter and National Chapter of the Ex Prisoners of War and was a life member of the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary. Elizabeth liked to read and enjoyed going on trips. Her husband, Joseph Francis Schmuck, whom she married July 21, 1945, died Sept. 4, 1997. She leaves two sons, Louis P. (Audeen) Schmuck of Hubbard and Joseph L. (Sharon) Schmuck of Negaunee, Mich.; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents. Family and friends may call on Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home. Interment will be at Green Haven Memorial Gardens
