HILDA T. METZ
“Together Again”
YOUNGSTOWN – There will be a 7 p.m. funeral service on Monday, July 30, 2012, at the Rossi Brothers & Lellio Funeral Home in Boardman with the Rev. Mary Vidmar celebrating the life of Hilda T. Metz, 90, who passed away peacefully on Friday, July 27.
Hilda was born Dec. 18, 1921, in Youngstown, the daughter of James L. and Hilda (Losenberger) Warren.
Hilda was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family especially during the holidays. She also enjoyed knitting and NASCAR racing.
Her husband, Joseph M. Metz, whom she married June 12, 1941, passed away on April 1, 2008.
She was a member of St. James Episcopal Church.
Hilda will be forever missed by her two children, Debbie (Keith) Boerio of Youngstown and Jim (Ella) Metz of Columbiana; five grandchildren, Jennifer and Brandy Metz, Vincent Kurtz (Courtney Green), Vincent (Jodee) Boerio, and Patrick (Kelli) Boerio; and four great-grandchildren, Cassie and Jake Boerio and Kaylyn and Aubrey.
Besides her parents and husband, Hilda was preceded in death by her brother, James J. Warren.
Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. prior to the service on Monday, July 30, 2012, at the Rossi Brothers & Lellio Funeral Home, 4442 South Ave. in Boardman.
