Obituary for Amanda L. Chechitelli

AMANDA LOU CHECHITELLI McDONALD – Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Lane Family Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel for Amanda Lou Chechitelli, 87, who passed away Friday afternoon at St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center. Amanda was born March 3, 1925, in Elkins, W.Va., a daughter of the late Clay and Pearl (Boyles) Hinchman. A homemaker, she was a member of the First Baptist Church in McDonald. Amanda enjoyed spending time with her family and rooting for the New York Yankees. Her husband, John Deno Chechitelli, whom she married July 12, 1946, passed away Feb. 23, 2005. Amanda will be sadly missed by her son, John D. (Linda) Chechitelli Jr. of Austintown; three sisters, Jean Connor of Winchester, Va., Mitzi (Louis) Osborne of Austintown and JoLene Boserman of Girard; three grandchildren, Jennifer, Jamie (Michael) and John Matthew (Tanisha); four great-grandchildren, Lexi, Caleb, Cadence, and Giovanni; and a sister-in-law, Sara Hinchman of Austintown. Besides her parents and husband, Amanda was predeceased by a sister, Naomi Russell; and two brothers, Charles and Frederick Hinchman. Friends may call from 3 to 5 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
