Obituary for Charles S. Cavolo

Dr. Charles S. Cavolo Jr. (1921-2012) | ""Together Again"" Dr. Charles S. Cavolo Jr., 91, passed away June 7, 2012, at Aberdeen Crossings in Highland Heights. He was born in Cleveland March 18, 1921, and had lived in Cleveland Heights before moving to Highland Heights 35 years ago. Dr. Cavolo was a podiatrist for 50 years. He was a graduate of Cathedral Latin High School in 1938 and the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in 1942. Dr. Cavolo was a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard and a longtime member of St. Paschal Baylon Parish. Survivors are his children, Joanne (Roger) Allman of Michigan, Charles S. III (Eunice) of Maryland, Patricia (Charles) Ciuni of Mayfield Village, Dr. Daniel (Kathleen) of Highland Heights, Dr. Richard (Bernadette) of Munson Township, and Mary (Robert) Kardell of Michigan; 21 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rosemary T. (nee Corso); parents, Charles and Josephine (nee Tanno); brother, Dominic Cavolo; and sister, Ann Dindia. The Funeral Mass will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 11, 2012, at St. Paschal Baylon Church in Highland Heights. Entombment will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chester Township.
