Tecla DiFonzo 4/15/1937-6/4/2012
| Tecla DiFonzo, 75, of Willoughby, passed away June 4, 2012, at Siedman Cancer Center in Cleveland surrounded by her family.
Born April 15, 1937, in Catania, Sicily, she had been a resident of Willoughby for the past 45 years.
Tecla was a devoted wife and mother, who loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Mrs. DiFonzo worked as a seamstress at Dalton Clothing in Willoughby.
Survivors are her loving husband of 55 years, Cleto DiFonzo; children, Frances (Raymond) Overbaugh, Peter (Helen) DiFonzo and Hosea (Lee) DiFonzo; grandchildren, Bryan (Cindy) Overbaugh, Maria (Anthony) Bettasso, Melinda Overbaugh, Niko, Reno, Antonio, Marco and Carina DiFonzo; great-grandchildren, Jadyn and Tyler Overbaugh, Kaylee and Kerstin Bettasso; sibling, Salvatore Quattrocchi; brothers-in-law, Eliseo DiFonzo and Stefano Buda; sister-in-law, Martha DiFonzo; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Nunzia "Maria" Buda; sister-in-law, Annita DiFonzo Zannella; brother-in-law, Pio DiFonzo.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Christian Assembly Church, 25595 Chardon Road, Richmond Heights.
Burial will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chester Township.
