Funeral service will be 12 noon on Monday at Lane Family Funeral Homes Austintown Chapel for Verdie Belle Pew who passed away Thursday evening at Northside Medical Center.
Verdie was born September 17, 1925 in Crossville, TN a daughter of the late James Woodson and Maggie Belle (Hale) Kerley.
A homemaker, she was a very devoted member of the North Jackson Church of the Nazarene and to her children who will dearly miss her: Donald Pew of Youngstown, Larry (Mary) Pew of Austintown, Randy (Sherree) Pew of Lake Milton, Patricia Brenner of Lake Milton, Donna Deeter of Jonesboro, Ark., Janice Pitzer of Austintown, Bill (Connie) Pew of Lake Milton, Richard Pew of Lake Milton, Norma (Kim) Senzarino of Austintown, Betty Scoggins of Austintown, Susan Welsh of Austintown, and Charlotte Venorsky of Austintown; two brothers: Cecil Kerley of Columbia Station and Ellis Kerley of Cleveland; twenty two grandchildren; thirty-one great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
Besides her parents, Verdie is predeceased by a sister Gladys M. Kocel, three brothers: Floyd, Stanley, and Otis Kerley, a daughter in law Kathy Pew, and a great grandson Hunter Landreth.
Memorial contributions may be made to the church in Verdie's name.
