Obituary for Pearl Heck

PEARL HECK BAY VILLAGE – Pearl Heck, 94, formerly of Canfield, died Friday at Bradley Bay Health Center in Bay Village, Ohio. Born Nov. 20, 1917, in Clarksburg, W.Va., she was the daughter of Pete and Violet (Smith) Warzabluk. Mrs. Heck moved to the Canfield area in the mid 1960s. She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church and a former member of the Philharmonic Guild. She loved to spend time with her family, cook, garden, and travel. She served as a Girl Scout leader and liked to keep current on politics. Survivors include her children, Pamela Ferré of Chicago, Kevin (Dolores) Heck of Sheffield Lake, and Jeffrey Heck of Canfield; her grandchildren, Cliff (Heidi) Ferré, Kyle and Neal Heck; and great-grandchildren Sam and Libby Ferré. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank J. Heck, in 2003; daughter Deborah Ann Quinn; sister Helen Kanarski; and brothers Steve, William and Walter Warzabluk. Friends will be received at the Lane Family Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel on Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. and again on Wednesday one hour prior to the 11 a.m. service. Burial will take place at Green Haven Cemetery. The family wishes to express their gratitude to Pearl’s nieces, Cynthia, Celesta and Cecilia for the special care they provided.
