Obituary for Alexander Fedoronko
Alexander N. Fedoronko, age 61, of Ansonia went home to be with the Lord on Monday, April, 30, 2012 after a brief battle with liver cancer. Alex was born in Bridgeport, CT. on Jan. 8, 1951, son of Irene (Kirylejsa) and Jeroslaw Fedoronko. He was predeceased by an older brother, George. Alex was employed for many years by John DeGrande and Sons, from where he retired this past summer. Alex took great interest in his health, enjoying both natural foods and exercise, such as swimming. He also enjoyed following several local sports teams, such as the Mets, Giants, Knicks and UCONN basketball. But, these things were mere hobbies to Alex, whose life was found in the cross of Jesus Christ, which he understood gave him free access to Father God, with whom Alex now rests in glory. Funeral was private at Alex's request. A memorial service will be held at Gateway Christian Fellowship, 129 Bull Hill Lane,West Haven, CT 06516 on Saturday, May 26, 2012 at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations in Alex's memory can be sent to: Treadwell Lewis Ministries, Box 652, Shelton, CT 06484. The Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Rd. Shelton are entrusted with the arrangements.
