Obituary for Edward C Egolf
EDWARD C. EGOLF JR
POLAND - Edward C. Egolf Jr., 59, died April 9, 2012, at Cleveland Clinic.
Mr. Egolf was born Aug. 14, 1952, in Youngstown, a son of Edward and Ann Wilkes Egolf Sr.
He was a 1970 graduate of Poland Seminary High School and went on to attend Youngstown State University. Edward was a structural iron worker for Local 207 for over 30 years. Edward was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church. He enjoyed the outdoors, physical fitness, and was an avid sports fan.
He is survived by his wife, the former Monica Bonish of Poland, whom he married Sept. 1, 1973; two daughters, Amanda Egolf of Poland and Alana (Jason) Schmitt of Avon; a brother, Gary L (Betsy) Egolf of Boardman; and a half brother, Daryel Egolf of Florida. He also leaves a brother-in-law, Dan (Linda) Bonish and numerous other family members and friends.
Edward was preceded in death by his parents.
Prayers will be Wednesday at noon at St. Charles Church.
Friends will be received Wednesday one hour prior at the church.
