Obituary for Myrtle N. Miller

Myrtle N. Miller (1916-2012) | Myrtle N. Miller, age 96, of Willoughby for the past seven years, and formerly of Mentor and Euclid, died Tuesday, April 10, 2012, at Manor Care of Willoughby in Willoughby. She was born March 5, 1916, in Cleveland. Mrs. Miller worked at A&P grocery stores from 1955, until her retirement in 1975. Myrtle loved to read, especially mystery and romance novels. She enjoyed playing bingo and cards. She loved to spend time with her family, especially all of her grandchildren. Survivors include her grandchildren, Terrence (Amy) Szabo of Mentor, Debra (Thomas) Dea of Chardon and Thomas (Patty) Szabo of Willoughby; great-grandchildren, Jake, Abe, Zach and Alex Szabo, Mathew (Marcy) Olgiate, Carly and Dominic Dea; great-great-grandson, Ryan Olgiate; son-in-law, Andrew Szabo of Mentor; and nephew, Kenny (Joyce) Redlin of Broadview Heights. Myrtle was preceded in death by her husband, Peter Miller; daughter, Patricia Szabo; and sisters, Mabel Flagg and Florence Redlin. A private family graveside service was held at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chester Township.
