Obituary for Norma L Miner
NORMA LUCILLE MINER
MCDONALD – Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Lane Family Funeral Homes, Mineral Ridge Chapel, for Norma Lucille Miner, 83, who passed away Friday evening at Briarfield at the Ridge Care Center.
Norma was born July 21, 1928, in Oceola, Ohio, the daughter of Gerald and Maude (Mollinkopf) Leonhart.
She was a graduate of Mineral Ridge High School, class of 1946, a homemaker and a member of the Girard United Methodist Church. Norma was also a member of the Order of Eastern Star No. 458 Sunrise Chapter, and the Senior Citizens of McDonald and Girard.
Her husband, Russel K. Miner, whom she married July 10, 1948, passed away Nov. 19, 1986.
Norma leaves three children, Kenneth L. (Gloria) Miner of McDonald, Patricia (Robert) Stanton of Brookfield, and Pamela Miner of McDonald; one brother, Byron (Lois) Leonhart of Mineral Ridge; two grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and four step great-grandchildren.
Besides her husband and parents, Norma was preceded in death by three brothers, Milton, Lloyd, and Harold Leonhart.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday and again from 9:30 to 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Lane Family Funeral Homes, Mineral Ridge Chapel.
