Funeral services will be 1 pm Friday at the Lane Family Funeral Homes Austintown Chapel for William H. Sawyers who passed away Sunday morning at Salem Community Hospital.
William was born October 20, 1932 in Brownton, WV a son of the late Robert and Pina (Jordon) Sawyers.
A United States Army Veteran, William worked for many area scrap yards. He enjoyed fishing, watching movies, especially westerns and coffee.
He will be sadly missed by his children: Kevin (Jeannette) Sawyers of Salem, Ron Sawyers, Roberta Sawyers, Terry Sawyers, and Ray Sawyers all of Texas; two sisters Lulubell Blevins and Hester Beaver both of Ashtabula; two brothers: Dannie Sawyers and Kyle Sawyers both of Ashtabula; and seven grandchildren.
Friends may call from 12 pm until 1 pm Friday at the funeral home prior to the services
