Obituary Robert Carl Smith (1943-2012) | Visit Guest Book Funeral services for Robert Carl Smith, 69, of Madison, will be 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 27, 2012, at St. Bartholomew Episcopal Church, 435 SOM Center Road, Mayfield Village. Mr. Smith passed away Feb. 21, 2012, in Madison. He was born Feb. 18, 1943, in Toledo. Mr. Smith had worked as a machinist at Lincoln Electric. Survivors are his beloved wife, Mary Ann (Engles) Smith; loving children, Peggy (Mike) Shack, Robert (Lea) Smith and Charlene (George) Strain; mother, Donnith L. Dean-Smith; siblings, Ronnie (Jeannae) Smith and Carolyn Smith; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Carl H. Smith. Burial will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chester Township. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory are suggested to the Siedman Cancer Center.
