TOMBA JEANETTE "JANET" E. TOMBA (nee Trozzi) age 92. Born January 11, 1920 in Cleveland; passed away February 21, 2012. Beloved wife of the late William; dearest mother of Elissa Tomba (Robert Shultz) of Westerville, Marianne Porter (Doug) of Westerville, Joyce Phillips (Michael) of Concord, and Robert (Renee) of Wickliffe; devoted grandmother of Joe Cogan (Cheryl), Jennifer Russo (Mike), Jessica Chouteau (Pete), Stefanie Smith (Greg), Drew Shultz (Daphne H.), Jeanna Fisher (Aaron), Jay Phillips, Gino Tomba; great-grandmother of Joey, Justin and Kelli Cogan, Nick, Sam and Anne Marie Russo, Ben and Madison Chouteau, and Amelia and Elena Smith; dear sister-in-law of Helen Tomba; devoted aunt of many loving nieces and nephews, and friend to many. Preceded in death by her parents Anthony and Emma Trozzi, brothers Dominic and Victor, sisters Margaret Luciano and Virginia DiLillo, sisters- and brothers-in-law Joseph and Edith Tomba, Dominic and Eleanor Tomba, Edward Tomba, Ann Trozzi, Josephine Trozzi, John Luciano and Anthony DiLillo. The family suggests contributions to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society-Northern Ohio Chapter, 23297 Commerce Park Road, Cleveland, Ohio 44122. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 28, at St. Francis of Assisi Church. Interment Western Reserve Memorial Gardens.
