Obituary for Mike Nasser

HASSAN A. NASSER BOARDMAN - Private funeral services were held on Sunday, Feb. 19, 2012, at Kinnick Funeral Home in Youngstown for the beloved Hassan A. Nasser, who passed away Friday, Feb. 17, 2012, at the Cleveland Clinic. Mr. Nasser was born Nov. 2, 1936, in Jerusalem. He was an honorable and admired son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, and he retired from General Motors in Lordstown after 30-plus years of dedicated work. Hassan was the widower of the beloved late Mariam Nasser, and shared seven sons and three daughters. Mr. Nasser is survived by his ten children, Maher, Nader, Ali, Nasser, Mousa, Jamal, Mohammed, Najah, Rita and Mimi; two sons-in-law, Dr. Rajy Rouweyha and Craig Lamborn; three daughters-in-law, Sana, Tamim and Eva; 18 grandchildren, Shannon, Ashley, Nadia, Leila, Jamal, Maya, Hassan, Hamoudi, Nesreen, Aleena, Emma, Iman, Mariam, Fatma, Maya, Jasmine, Jordan, and Jayda; three great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Lilly and Aden; four brothers, Mohammed, Mahmoud, Ahmed and Housni; and two sisters, Hadia and Khadrah. Hassan lived his life with optimism, love, and devotion. More than anything, he loved to laugh and his joyful state was felt by everyone around him. He filled his life and his family’s lives with unconditional love. He will be truly missed.
