Obituary for Virginia Fitori

VIRGINIA C. FITORIE Virginia C. Fitori, surrounded by her family, passed away peacefully Saturday evening, Feb. 18, 2012. A private Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Tuesday at St. Christine Parish. Virginia was a lifelong resident of Youngstown, the daughter of James and Concetta Altomond Yane. She was a faithful member of the St. Christine Parish. She was an active member of the Amerital Club for many years, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. In addition to her extraordinary homemaking skills, she was an excellent seamstress. Her husband Reynard, Joseph preceded her in death May 20, 2009. She is survived by their five children, Joseph (Kay) Fitori of Overland Park, Kan., Christine Mastramico of North Lima, Renee Bitonte of Canfield, James (Priscilla) Fitori of Boardman and Virginia (Jeffrey) Charlotte of Sarasota, Fla.; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. One of eight siblings, she was preceded in death by two sisters and five brothers. The family requests that tributes take the form of donations to the St. Christine Parish in Virginia’s memory
