Funeral services for Margaret E. (nee Hamko) Keenan, 91, of Willowick for 57 years, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2012, Mrs. Keenan passed away Jan. 26, 2012, at Hospice of the Western Reserve in Cleveland.
She was born Aug. 24, 1920, in Cuddy, Pa.
Margaret was a compassionate caregiver of family, neighbors and pets. She was an artist, gardener and Samaritan. ""Safe in the Master's arms, till we meet again.""
She worked as a data entry at CTS. Also, Mrs. Keenan served in the United States Army (WAC) as a Sgt. during World War II.
Survivors are daughters, Diane Keenan and Linda King; grandchildren, Christy Derringer and Rick Kroth; great-grandchildren, Jonathan, Abigail and Lainey; brother, Andy Hamko; and sister, Mary Rosati.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Robert Keenan; beloved daughter, Sharon Leininger; and brother, John Hamko.
Friends may call at 9:30 a.m. until time of services Tuesday. Burial will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chester Township.
