Obituary for Rose Barberio Erlingheuser
Mrs. Rose B. Erlingheuser 81 died Wednesday Jan 25 at her home. She was the wife of Frank V. Erling-heuser. Born in New Rochelle, N.Y. on April 5, 1930 daughter of the late Antonio and Lucrezia (Pepe) Barberio. She retired as a Para Professional from the Ansonia School System. A communicant of Holy Rosary Church, she led the Divine Mercy at the Adoration Chapel every day in the Church. A member of the Ansonia Democratic Town Committee, volunteered in the Library, and was a lunch aide at Prendergast School. Rose, enjoyed spending time with family and friends at her home. Survivors are daughters Mary Erlingheuser Sinko and her Husband Thomas of Stratford, Ann Sanza and her husband John of Ansonia sons Frank J. and his wife Carol of Beacon Falls, Mark and his wife Karen of Ansonia, David and his wife Diane of Wallingford and John Erlingheuser of Ansonia. Sister Susan Pettela of Fla. 10 grandchildren Darlene, Suzanne, Paul, Michael, Lauren, Steven, Jeffrey, Sarah, Amanda, and Julianne 4 great grandchildren 1 very special niece Gloria DiTullio and family. Predeceased by sister Mary Sforza and brothers Thomas and Alex Barberio. Her Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday at 8:30 from the Bennett Funeral Home 91 N. Cliff St. Ansonia to Holy Rosary Church for a mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 am. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Monday from 4-8 pm.
